RTE-1
VDR-1,2用に製作したTRIGGER/CV です。
出力は３つあります。3.5mm ジャックです。
TRIG OUT : トリガーアウト、SH RATEで設定した周期で強弱のついたトリガーを出力します。
CV OUT : S&H LEVELとWAVE LEVELで設定したCVをミックスして出力します。
NOISE OUT : NOISE LEVELで設定したノイズ出力
S&H LEVEL : S&H（サンプルアンドホールド）のCV 出力調節
S&H RATE : S&Hの周期調節
NOISE-WAVE switch : S&Hの入力ソースをNOISEにするかWAVEするか選択します。
WAVEにした場合はWAVE RATEとS&H RATEをLEDで確認しながら連動させてSHを動作させてください。周期の組み合わせによってはS&Hがトリガー出力しないポイントもあります。

この機種単体では音は出ません。
RTE-1からの入力とVDRのつまみなどを連動して調節することで様々なサウンドが出せます。
S&Hから取り出したトリガーがVDRに入力した時に強弱が出るように調整したものです。それによって単調なトリガーでは出せないバリエーションが出せます。
DC9V センターマイナスアダプターか電池で動作します。アダプターは付属していません。BOSS PSAシリーズお勧めします。廉価アダプターなどはノイズ処理できていないものが多数あり操作不良につながる場合があります。
It runs on DC9V negative center power supply (not included).
This is a TRIGGER/CV unit designed for use with the VDR-1 and VDR-2.
It has three outputs, using 3.5 mm jacks.
TRIG OUT:
Trigger output. Unlike a typical sample-and-hold trigger output, which tends to produce simple, uniform triggers, the RTE-1 is adjusted to generate complex trigger dynamics, ranging from very weak pulses to strong hits, at the cycle set by the S&H RATE control.
CV OUT:
Outputs a mix of the CV set by the S&H LEVEL and WAVE LEVEL controls.
NOISE OUT:
Noise output, adjusted by the NOISE LEVEL control.
S&H LEVEL:
Adjusts the CV output level of the S&H (sample and hold).
S&H RATE:
Adjusts the S&H rate.
NOISE-WAVE switch:
Selects whether the input source for the S&H is NOISE or WAVE.
When set to WAVE, you can use the LEDs to check the relationship between the
WAVE RATE and S&H RATE, and make them move in sync. Depending on the combination of cycle settings, there may be points where no S&H trigger is output.
NOISE LEVEL:
Adjusts the noise output level.
WAVE LEVEL:
Adjusts the wave level.
WAVE RATE:
Adjusts the wave cycle.
This unit does not produce sound by itself.
Various sounds can be created by patching the RTE-1 into the input jacks of the VDR-1 or VDR-2 and adjusting the controls.
The trigger output is derived from the S&H section, but it is specially adjusted for use with the VDR series. Instead of producing only simple, uniform triggers, it generates complex trigger dynamics ranging from very weak pulses to strong hits. When patched into the VDR, this creates subtle and irregular variations that cannot be achieved with ordinary trigger signals alone.
Operates with a DC 9V center-negative adapter or battery.
An adapter is not included. We recommend the BOSS PSA series. Cheap adapters may not have proper noise filtering and can cause unwanted noise or malfunction.
